“I want to inspire, motivate and encourage people. My heart's desire is to see people fulfill what they were created to be and do. Sharing stories—mine and yours—is what this website is all about.
I will regularly post pages from my unpublished book along with other observations, stories, artwork, poetry, tidbits, odds and ends. ”

"The first thing I ever wanted to be when I grew up was a writer. Even though I wanted to be a writer, I didn’t enjoy writing. It was difficult finding the right words to put down on paper. What came easy was talking. But who says they want to be a talker when they grow up?
What did you want to be?"

I started writing poetry in elementary school. By the time I was in 5th grade, I had compiled a little booklet of verses which I gave to my 5th grade teacher, Mrs. Fryer. Many, many years later, I wrote her a letter thanking her for the influence she had had in my life. At the time she was in her 80’s and wheelchair bound, but she wrote a letter back and along with it, sent the little booklet of poetry. She thought my children might like to see what I had written.
I was touched that she kept that booklet
all those years. In wanting to bless her,
she blessed me.
